  • Labeling in the superior colliculus contralateral to an injection of hEF1a-EYFP-IRES-cre in the lateral posterior nucleus ( 100 nl). After a 1 week survival period, this labeled the dendritic arbors of wide field vertical cells in the superior colliculus (top panel, scale = 100 um),  all the way up to the surface of the colliculus (high mag lower panel, scale = 10 um).
