MEG Lab at MIT

Please contact Dimitrios Pantazis for training sessions to use the MEG scanner.

Human Subject Research

As required by federal mandate (Common Rule 45 CFR 46) and MIT policy, all research on human subjects must be approved by MIT’s Committee on the Use of Humans as Experimental Subjects (COUHES). For more information about the approval process, visit the COUHES website.

Mailing list

The MEG Lab uses a mailing list to update users regarding the operation of the lab and other related news. You can register here to join the list.

Schedule MEG scan time

The MEG Lab policies regarding scheduling and billing are available here. The MEG Lab uses the ScanTime online reservation system to book imaging time, parking spaces, and more. Contact Dimitrios Pantazis for more information.

Other User Information

Individual users, rather than imaging center staff, are responsible for scheduling and coordinating with their research subjects and for escorting them as needed during their visit to MIT. Users are also responsible for completion of consent forms, subject reimbursement, compliance with relevant regulations, and for storage and analysis of their data.
